Not sure I agree with all that is mentioned here but I do see the interest in the vintage t-shirt. We have a friend who traavels here from Japan a couple or three times a year. He frequents the weekly swap meets and comes home with vintage style t-shirts much of the time. He sees friends at these shopping venues from time to time (also from Japan) who are looking for the vintage as well.
As stated in the above referenced article, you never know what is going to be labeled vintage, there are no real rules! There are certainly companies who are making the fabrics look and feel old and there are others that are simply printing the vintage style of art on the tees. No matter, it all comes down to what you like and what you are looking for.
Vintage is the wave of the future!!
